* WHAT. The South Coast AQMD has issued an air quality alert due to harmful levels of fine particle pollution. * WHERE. Orange County and the Inland Empire. Levels of particle pollution can vary by time and location depending on emissions and local weather conditions. * WHEN. 5 PM July 4th through 11:59 PM July 5th. * IMPACTS. Particle pollution can get deep into the lungs and cause serious health problems such as heart attacks, bronchitis, asthma attacks, and difficulty breathing. Everyone can be affected, but sensitive groups such as people with lung or heart disease, older adults, people who are pregnant, children, and those who spend a lot of time outdoors are at greater risk.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of northwest Arizona, including the following county, Mohave, southern California, including the following county, San Bernardino, and southern Nevada, including the following county, Clark. * WHEN. Until 445 AM PDT /445 AM MST/. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 137 AM PDT /137 AM MST/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms extending from near Cottonwood Cove southward towards Needles. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. Areas near Golden Valley in Mohave County and US-95 south of Needles may observe flooding on low water crossings. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Bullhead City, Laughlin, Katherine Landing, Searchlight, Topock, Highway 95 At Mile Marker 29, Needles, Big Bend Rec Area, Mesquite Creek, Mojave Ranch Estates, Mohave Valley, Oatman, Cal-Nev-Ari, Arizona Village, Highway 95 And I-40, Cottonwood Cove, Cottonwood Cove Campground, Golden Valley, Dolan Springs and Willow Valley. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Portions of northwest Arizona, including the following county, Mohave, southern California, including the following county, San Bernardino, and southern Nevada, including the following county, Clark. * WHEN. Until 445 AM PDT /445 AM MST/. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 241 AM PDT /241 AM MST/, Heavy rain and thunderstorms continue early this morning. Storms are currently focused east of Laughlin / Bullhead City where Thumb Butte rain gage recently reported 0.75 inches of rain in 15 minutes. Heavy downpours are also ongoing closer to Golden Valley. Avoid low water crossings and regional drainages which are currently flooded. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
