For the Lower White River. including Newport, Augusta, Georgetown, Des Arc, Clarendon. elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. White River at Augusta. * WHEN. From this morning to Friday, June 14. * IMPACTS. At 26.0 feet, Farm ground along the river in White and Woodruff counties begin to flood. Seasonal agricultural impacts. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to 25.9 feet early Monday afternoon.
