THE SWELL WILL CONTINUE TO PRESS SOUTHEASTWARD ALONG THE COAST TODAY AND TONIGHT. LARGE SWELL WILL CAUSE STRONG RIP CURRENTS LARGE SURF AND POSSIBLE SNEAKER WAVES. SAN FRANCISCO- COASTAL NORTH BAY...INCLUDING POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE- SAN FRANCISCO PENINSULA COAST-NORTHERN MONTEREY BAY- SOUTHERN MONTEREY BAY AND BIG SUR COAST- 342 AM PDT SUN APR 20 2014 ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT MONDAY... WAVES AND SURF...NORTHWEST SWELL INITIALLY 5 TO 8 FEET AT 18 SECONDS WILL BUILD TO 13 TO 15 FEET AT 15 TO 16 SECONDS THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON. TIMING...NORTHWEST SWELL WILL BUILD THROUGH TODAY AND CONTINUE TONIGHT. IMPACTS...LARGE SURF IS EXPECTED AT EXPOSED BEACHES SUCH AS OCEAN BEACH.
