Brief Description Small Craft Advisory
Detailed Description HIGH SWELLS AND OCCASIONAL STRONG WINDS TO IMPACT THE COASTAL WATERS MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING. .A WEST SWELL WITH ORIGINS IN THE WEST PACIFIC WILL ARRIVE LATE MONDAY AND BRING HIGH SEAS MONDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. THE SWELL WILL REACH 10 OR 11 FEET IN THE OUTER COASTAL WATERS TUESDAY. WITH A PERIOD OF 16 TO 18 SECONDS. ALSO. A LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WITH A COUPLE OF COLD FRONTS WILL BRING PERIODS OF STRONG GUSTY WINDS. MAINLY MONDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING. SUSTAINED WINDS WILL BE AROUND 20 KNOTS DURING THE WINDIER PERIODS WITH GUSTS OF 25 TO 30 KNOTS. WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE SOUTH AHEAD OF THE FIRST COLD FRONT MONDAY NIGHT. THEN SWITCH TO THE WEST BY EARLY TUESDAY. THE SECOND FRONT WILL BRING A BRIEF PERIOD OF SOUTHWEST WINDS LATE TUESDAY NIGHT BEFORE SWITCHING TO THE WEST EARLY WEDNESDAY. SEAS WILL BE CHOPPY AND CONFUSED DUE TO THE COMBINATION OF THE WINDS AND THE SWELL. . SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM MONDAY TO 10 PM PST WEDNESDAY. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY. WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM MONDAY TO 10 PM PST WEDNESDAY. * WINDS. SOUTH 20 KNOTS WITH GUSTS 25 KNOTS MONDAY NIGHT. BECOMING WEST WITH LOWER SPEEDS BY EARLY TUESDAY. SOUTHWEST WINDS 20 KNOTS WITH GUSTS 25 KNOTS WILL DEVELOP LATE TUESDAY NIGHT. SWITCHING TO THE WEST WEDNESDAY 20 KNOTS WITH GUSTS 25 TO 30 KNOTS. * SEAS. COMBINED SEAS OVER 10 FEET MAINLY IN THE OUTER WATERS MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY. WITH SEAS LOWERING TO 8 OR 9 FEET BY WEDNESDAY.
